a little bit about me.
Since I was a kid, I’ve always found creativity and story-telling to be a passion of mine. Growing up I was infatuated with films of coming of age, mystery and fantasy, and stories that truly evoked emotions. I found myself growing with characters of films I really loved and picturing myself in these stories. I was fully immersed in the life of story-telling.
Once I became aware of my love for story-telling, I began writing short stories of my own. As a second grader, I was above average with academics and spent a lot of time in 4th and 5th grade classes and was asked to read my stories to the classes. As nerve-wrecking as it was standing in front of kids 3 years older than me, it gave me so much pleasure to see that kids actually enjoyed my stories. It became a weekly thing that I wrote a short story and read it to the classes. I eventually auditioned for Disney but was not fortunate to move forward.
Years later, after writing and longing to be an actor, I found myself being drawn to cinematography. Obsessed. I had dreamed of going to film school at USC or NYU, but found myself taking the route of being self taught and working my way up learning on set.
When I’m not on set, you can find me with a camera in hand, writing a script, or fantasizing about being a lead role in a tv series.
